It’s a great day for local journalism and media here in Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has been acquired by Venetoulis Institute for Local Journalism, publisher of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Baltimore Banner, and will not shutter operations on May 3rd as originally planned.
